Model3 Emulation Feedback From Developer!!

I know that there's not much going on in terms of Sega racers (besides SROA).  I was wondering what happened to the Supermodel emulator with Daytona 2 & Scud Race.  So I tried e-mailing Bart (the guy who worked on the model3 emulator).

I sent this e-mail on 6/3...

Hello dude, I think your work on the Model3 emulator is incredible.  It really means a lot to be able to play Daytona 2 & Scud Race again, albeit a lesser version of the original.

I have two questions: One, is there any way that I can help you with your project?  Two, when should we expect to see some sort of update?  I don't want to rush you of course.  What we have is more than enough.

I hope to talk to you again soon, thanks a million man...

....

It's been a while since I got his reply.  I thought he snubbed me at first but on 6/14, I got a response back from him...

Thanks for the feedback! Not sure when the next update will be, hopefully July, but there has been virtually no progress on sound. There is a much better input system now, however. I've been too busy to work on it but have received some substantial contributions from another developer.

....

I'm ecstatic to hear about anything new.  No sound really sucks but don't be an ass and bother him about it.  As a matter of fact, he's shared more info about model3 info on his What's New section of his site so you didn't have to hear about this from me thereby rendering me useless :(

NICE!!!...

Check out my Model3 emulation pics: Daytona 2 as well as Scud Race Part 1 and Part 2.
